Mission Statement

ELMIRAGE.ORG provides a forum for The Friends of El Mirage and users of El Mirage OHV to promote the preservation, multiple use, and restoration of this unique area. Friends of El Mirage (FOEM) is a varied group of outdoor recreationists who are extremely active in promoting the positive aspects of vehicular access to this multi-use land, and protecting that right.

To support and develop projects to improve, protect and maintain existing trails and dry lakebed to promote understanding, education and cooperation between all users.

 

 


 

Please be aware that starting on October 1st, 2008, the Bureau of Land Management will begin to collect user fees for entry into the El Mirage recreational areas.

 

These fees are payable as daily ($15), weekly ($30) or annually ($90).
